We conquer YouTube.....

Bonjour guys,

I'm sorry for the delay in the publishing of this post. I've been busy with studying, musical rehearsals, clarinet practice and fighting Vikings.

About two weeks ago, I suggested to my dear friend and fellow blogger, Conquistador, that we do something incredible this year. Something we wouldn't normally do at all.....
Make a documentary about our trip to Sydney for the 2013 Colour Conference!!!!
She instantly accepted and we began to plan what we'd do.

For those of you who don't know what Colour Conference is, it's a yearly women's conference that's been happening since 1997, which was at first limited to Sydney, but this year it's been hosted in London, Cape Town and Kiev by many guest speakers.
It's a gathering of women aiming to make a difference in the world and spread a message of peace, light and love. It's inspirational and it takes time out of school; I signed up instantly.

Just to give you all the briefest possible rundown on what we're going to do, we're going to, in no particular order:
  • Travel to Sydney with some other girls
  • Attend the conference and hear inspirational women give speeches
  • Get up to various misadventures in Australia's most famous city
  • Film the whole thing, edit it and upload to YouTube for the world to see
I personally cannot wait until March now. For months I've been making an impact on the internet using only words. Now I have the chance to make an impact with video, and the aftermath will be fascinating.

You can watch the introduction/promotion video here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S6Lun2n64A.

I hope you guys are excited about the eventual release of the Colour Conference videos. If you're actually going to the conference, have any comments on the video or would like to protest against the violence against Vikings, please let me know in the comments below.

Au revoir, Vivmarie1407
