Good afternoon guys,
On Wednesday, I unleashed my inner child and went trick or treating. At my age it's a bit ridiculous, but what is more astounding is the fact that I am an unconventional dresser when it comes to costumes. This year I went as renowned Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Monobrow and everything, including a fake tan for authenticity.
In all the years I've trick or treated, my costumes have never been this strange. I've been a mummy, banshee, grim reaper, goth, a skanky nun and the Ancient Greek goddess, Athena.
All in all, I love Halloween. And I hope you all (in particular, my American readers :D) had a good Halloween too. It's not celebrated largely in most parts of the world, I get that, but nonetheless I hope it was enjoyable.
And in light of enjoyable, my excursion to the mangroves was almost the opposite. I know they're incredibly important to the environment and all, but they smell absolutely disgusting. Decaying organic matter and whatnot. And then there were the seagulls, ferocious ones at that; divebombing the innocent and stealing their chips at lunchtime.
I didn't trip over a razor clam and get cut, slip on algae and break my neck or get pooed on by a pelican and contract avian flu. Which is lucky, considering that any of those things could have happened.
In short, I've had a pretty fascinating week, filled with disaster and huge Frida Kahlo eyebrows. If you'd like to comment on your Halloween experience, give more reasons as to why mangroves are dangerous or possible post ideas, let me know in the comments below!!
Peace out, Vivmarie1407
Yeah, I think mangroves are stupid too. You'd probably die of stench abomiation before anything else :P, but please tell why you enjoy holoween?
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting!! And I enjoy it because it's fun to dress up, go out all night with your friends, recieve enough lollies/candy to serve as lunch for 3 weeks and all the scary(or stupid) stories that get told, all result in one glorious October tradition.
