I'm going to say this; when it comes to the physical appearance, I hate fakery.
I hate hair extensions. I hate fake tans. I hate the little fake eyelashes that look like baby tarantulas. I hate cosmetic surgical procedures like boob jobs, nose jobs, facelifts, Botox, collagen.....
But I think above all, I hate the personalities that go hand in hand with the physical fakery.
I see it in Facebook newsfeeds; those girls that are just "too pretty". Their hair is too long and clean and highlighted looking, their eyes are like kaleidoscopes fringed with black lace, their skin seemingly has the texture of plastic and let's not get started on the teeth that are whiter than an albino.
If you're anything like me, you want to kill them. And not because they make you feel physically inferior, but because they exhude this aura of "I'm better than all of you; but I won't admit it."
And that's when people get punchedbecause they're annoying air heads. Because all of us real girls feel that our exteriors reflect our interiors; and when we forget that the value of something wonderful (like a book) is rarely shown in the cover, that's when we try to change the whole book.
I wish thatit was legal to kill all the girls that are too pretty more girls saw that legitimate external beauty is found in flaws. Everything you hate is another girl's dream. Those extra curves you might have? Yeah, someone out there actually wants them. Name any flaw of yours and I'm willing to bet someone out there wants it.
We all need to stop trying to attain physical perfection. Because the covers of books aren't the most important parts. It's what you find inside those pages that really strikes someone as remarkable. So stop trying to redesign your own cover; it's all about making yourself something worth reading. Because while colouring books look very cool on the outside, the inside is all impressionable and without true literary significance.
In many cases, I'm drawn to those with imperfect features. Because that's my idea of perfection. And yes, I can go so far as to sometimes be prejudiced towards others who lack physical perfection. But that's because I'm not someone who has perfection in all areas; including being a non-prejudiced person. And with this imperfect personality comes a sense of jealousy whenever anything about me is ignored by someone intriguing.
That still doesn't make it OK for anyone (including me) to be a hypocrite though. They're interesting, but they deserve slaps with axes.
Other people that need slaps from axes are those annoying people. There's too many types of annoying people, but really I'm just referring to those ones who hang around like fart gas.
They aren't necessarily invited to join you or your friends, but they do anyway. And then all you want to do is push that person down some stairs... or move them to Afghanistan.
In any case; they also have the aspect of NEVER TAKING HINTS THAT THEY AREN'T WANTED BY YOUR DIVISION OF SOCIETY. And they never leave. They still stay there and dominate your social scene.
So in this world dominated by fakery and idiots, what are the ones with brains and charisma meant to do???? Answers from my genius readers (yes, you!!!!) would be remarkably fabulous.
